That's it. The refrigerator. See the freezer compartment up top? And this is a large one! It's really o.k. though, because food doesn't seem to stay fresh as long in Germany as it does in the States. I guess they don't use as many preservatives and chemicals. You're lucky if your milk is fresh for 3 or 4 days. Cheese went bad in a week!

We had an extra freezer in the basement that came in very handy for storing ice cream etc. So it really wasn't as bad as it appears here!

Refrigerator is built-into the kitchen cabinets. The refrigerator is tiny.
The fish counter has a small selection, and short line! Everyone lines up for deli meat. The vegetable department at MultiCenter is just like an American grocery store.
